Visa Information for Non-Nigerian Participants
Participants from outside Nigeria will require an entry visa to attend the Africa Conference on Development Journalism (ACDJ). The most reliable and official way to obtain this is through the Nigeria eVisa system, which replaced the previous Visa-on-Arrival program in May 2025.
Who Needs a Visa
-
All non-Nigerian nationals need an eVisa unless exempt.
-
ECOWAS citizens do not require a visa to enter Nigeria.
-
Citizens of countries with visa abolition agreements with Nigeria are also exempt.
Recommended Visa Category
For conference attendance, the appropriate eVisa is the Business Visa – Single Entry (F4A):
-
Allows short-term business or conference participation.
-
Valid for up to 90 days.
-
Not valid for employment in Nigeria.
