Aro Leonard is a distinguished Media Development, Social Transformation, and Environment expert with over two decades of experience driving impactful communication initiatives. As the Founder of Klevaro Communications (Kleverest Scenta), he has supported individuals and organizations in achieving their media and communications goals since 1999.

Formerly Head of Media Development and External Relations at BBC Media Action, Aro played a pivotal role in establishing the organization as a leading development partner. He produced the award-winning youth reproductive health show Flava and led one of the world’s largest HIV awareness campaigns. Aro also contributed significantly to Nigeria’s media-led governance and peaceful elections campaigns.

With extensive media goodwill and a track record of training broadcasters in over 80% of Nigeria’s radio and TV stations, Aro is a recognized authority in content development, broadcast management, and thematic programming. He currently consults for major local and international organizations, focusing on governance, health, environment, resilience, and humanitarian response.
